Miley Cyrus Fans: Submit Your Questions for “The Last Song”!
March 10, 2010 by Disnology · Leave a Comment
This is pretty exciting! To thank ‘The Last Song’ and Miley Cyrus fans for their support of the film, Touchstone Pictures has decided to interview Miley using questions that fans submit in the comments on this note from now until Friday, March 12th at 12pm EST.
To do this, you must first become a fan of the page, which you can do on the Wall of the THE LAST SONG page. Miley will answer 10 lucky fans’ questions, and the videos with her answers will be shared on Facebook in the coming weeks.
This is a great opportunity, so don’t miss it!
Based on best-selling novelist Nicholas Sparks’ (“A Walk to Remember,” “The Notebook”) latest novel, THE LAST SONG is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father (GREG KINNEAR) gets a chance to spend the summer with his reluctant teenage daughter (MILEY CYRUS), who’d rather be home in New York. He tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common—music—in a story of family, friendship, secrets and salvation, along with first loves and second chances.

Walt Disney Studios to Offer HD Movies for PlayStation Network
March 10, 2010 by Disnology · Leave a Comment
It was announced yesterday that several major movie companies, including Walt Disney Studios, will offer high definition (HD) movies for purchase and rental on the PlayStation Network video delivery service in the United States. Other movie networks included are 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros. Digital Distribution.
The PlayStation Network is the first to offer HD movies for purchase from all of the major movie distributors.
“Securing high definition content from these studios is another significant milestone further validating PlayStation Network as a complete entertainment network in the home. PlayStation Network is the first and only service to deliver high definition home entertainment from all six major studios, directly to consumers for download,” said Peter Dille, senior vice president, marketing and PlayStation Network, SCEA. “PlayStation Network continues to offer the most comprehensive catalogue of HD movies to PlayStation Network members that realize the wide-ranging entertainment power of the PS3 system.”
Do you have a PS3? If so, weigh in with your thoughts on this.

Kevin and Joe Jonas Did NOT Audition for Captain America Role
Ah, just as we suspected. The story that Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas auditioned for the role in the Captain America movie is completely bogus. Shocking!
Here’s the latest from one of my all-time favorite sites, Gossip Cop:
According to the site’s “sources,” the two brothers “have already read lines for the upcoming film” and are “in contention” for both the title role and other characters.
Wow! Which Jonas will it be?
AND HOW CAN THE COUNTRY SURVIVE A JONAS VS. JONAS COMPETITION FOR SUPERHERO GLORY?
(deep breath)
Not to worry.
They have not auditioned for Captain America.
A Marvel source laughed off the Jonas rumor and told Gossip Cop it was “not true.”
So, who is in the running for the Captain America role? According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wilson Bethel and Mike Vogel are. The part calls for a nine-picture deal, the second of which would be the “Avengers” movie. That project could start shooting as soon as January 2011.
